Wes and Bev Pinneo are the owners of B Bar W Kikos (BWP) in Colony, Kansas. They created the Heartland sale in 2020 with Jim & Angie Loos & Michael Hogan with Wes as the Sale Manager. Wes’ vision for the sale is to offer a group of yearling Registered Kikos along with some like minded breeders. The goal of the sale is to always offer a variety of choices that stand out with their own qualities.
Wes and Bev have established a nationally recognized reputation for breeding kikos. Before goats arrived on the farm, Wes and Bev were raising brood mares and cattle. In 2000, Wes added goats to their farm, in 2005 Wes and Bev made the change to raise kiko goats. Committed to performance-based selection, they began buck testing in 2009 earning #1 FEC (Fecal Egg Count) spot in the Oklahoma Buck test at Kerr Center. They have performance tested consistently in the 17 years since the first test, placing at the top of the Kerr, W IL, EOSC, MD, and WV buck tests.
