Jim & Angie Loos are the owners of Red Ranch Goats (LOO) in Liberty, Illinois. They teamed up with Wes Pinneo, Bev Pinneo, Michael Hogan, and Venessa Hogan to create the Heartland Kiko Production Sale. You can find them at Red Ranch Goats on Facebook or redranchgoats.com.
They started raising Boer does in 2004 with about 15 goats. In 2006 they learned of Kiko goats and effectively made the switch. In 2013, Jim and Angie began performance testing earning the #4 and #5 at the EOSC Buck Test in Oklahoma. Since 2013, their bucks have proven to consistently place at the top of the EOSC, MD, WV, and MS buck tests.
Jim and Angie manage 80 head of breeding does. Red Ranch Goats is able to offer a variety of genetics from all over the country, if you want it, there is a good chance that they have it.
